Interested in Volunteering?
Here’s what you can expect:
Earth’s Table relies entirely on volunteers! We work with both individuals and groups.
Volunteers may be asked to till soil, move compost, put down weed guard and carpet, plant seed, and/or transplant seedlings, weed, clean up, harvest and wash vegetables depending on what is needed at the time. We supply all the tools and all the directions volunteers need to be successful.
A garden manager will meet the group, supply you with tools, then guide you through the work we have planned. Parking is available at all our gardens.
None of our gardens have potable water so we ask you to bring a few things: Bring water (lots of water) and perhaps a snack, sun protection is recommended (vegetables like full sun) as is insect repellent. We suggest you dress in layers, including long sleeves and pants, and closed-toed shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
I’m in! How Do I Sign Up?
That’s great! We’re excited to have you join us!
Volunteer as an Individual
One person teamed up with a group, working for a few hours, is the mainstay of our workforce, and lots of fun! We send a weekly email detailing the work to be done, location, and time. No need to RSVP; just show up when you can!
Volunteer as a Group
We welcome groups of up to 15 people. This is a great opportunity to join with co-workers, friends, faith-based organization, or your club in a different environment. Team building with a purpose!
